Aventura Hospital and Medical Center is proud to announce the promotion of Julie Millar, R.N., to the role of Associate Chief Nursing Officer. Millar has served for the past two and half years as the Director of Emergency Services at Aventura Hospital. During her tenure, she has worked closely with the Medical Director, Dr. Roman Skylar and with Miami Dade Fire and Rescue to implement new protocols that allowed the average wait time at Aventura Hospitals Emergency Room to be reduced to less than ten minutes each month and to provide STENT intervention to heart attack patients within 60 minutes or less.
