January 7, 2025 – Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus reported that it has been recognized for excellence in clinical quality by Press Ganey through its prestigious Human Experience Awards. The awards celebrate healthcare organizations that demonstrate outstanding performance in patient care and quality outcomes.
The Palm Springs Campus was honored in two distinguished categories:
- Pinnacle of Excellence in Clinical Quality for consistently ranking among the top performers over the past two years in the midsize hospital category (100–299 beds).
- Guardian of Excellence in Clinical Quality for achieving performance in the top 5% of peer hospitals over the prior calendar year.

As part of Larkin Health System, the Palm Springs Campus is the only hospital in Florida to receive these prestigious recognitions in both the Pinnacle and Guardian of Excellence categories for clinical quality. The awards highlight the hospital’s exceptional performance across 10 core quality measures, including:
- Outpatient services
- Tobacco use management
- Sepsis management
- Substance abuse treatments
Recognition criteria for the awards included reporting data on at least five core quality measures with a minimum of 10 cases per measure. Data was drawn from Press Ganey’s comprehensive platform, which evaluates metrics submitted by thousands of hospitals nationwide.
