It is a delight for us to now bring the expertise of the #1 children’s hospital in Florida, Nicklaus Children’s to the Miami Beach community.” Nicklaus Children’s is tied for #1 with the two other hospitals in Florida in U.S. News & World Report’s 2022-23 pediatric rankings and is the only top-ranked hospital in Florida.
Mayor Gelber said, “Nicklaus Children’s is a great addition to the Miami Beach community. There’s nothing parents care more about than the health of their kids. Having a world-class group of pediatric specialists ensconced in a world-class hospital provides something that is very important to people.”
“Miami Beach is a community that’s very dear to me,” said Dr. Perlyn. “Not only am I a proud resident of Miami Beach, but our family has lived here for several generations. So many of our shared memories involve this dynamic community and it’s wonderful to see the Beach continue to flourish. I am so pleased that Miami Beach families will now enjoy greater access to pediatric specialty care.”
The center is located at 4308 Alton Road, in suite 940 of the Donald L. Golden Family Medical Building, Mount Sinai Medical Center.
