Nicole Jackson is the Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Delray Medical Center. Nicole has worked in various capacities with the hospital since 2005, including holding the title of Administrative Director for the emergency department, cardiac telemetry and observation unit.
Nicole is steadfast in her focus on quality patient care throughout her career. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she implemented and coordinated systems to limit the spread of the disease, working closely with EMS personnel for immediate COVID testing results on mutual patients.
She serves on a variety of committees at Delray Medical Center, including the Nursing Leadership Committee and Patient Throughput Committee. She’s been able to decrease operational expenses by at least five percent for each of the last five years while maintaining employee and physician satisfaction and providing quality outcomes for patients in the departments she manages. She helped launch our new Vertical Emergency Department and a stand-alone emergency department, while remaining budget conscience.
