December 20, 2024 – It was a heartwarming holiday celebration at James Stephens Elementary School in Fort Myers!

Lee Health teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of Lee County to deliver hundreds of gifts to more than one hundred local children, spreading cheer and joy just in time for the holidays.

Thanks to a generous $10,000 donation from the Lee Health Foundation, each child was given $75 to choose gifts they’d been dreaming of.

Adding to the magic, Santa Claus himself made a grand entrance aboard the Lee Health Mobile Unit, escorted by an ambulance—a festive alternative while his sleigh gets ready for Christmas next week.

From Barbie Dream Houses and stuffed animals to Nerf guns, the kids selected gifts that lit up their faces. Some even selected presents for their parents—a true holiday spirit in action!

Santa personally handed out the wrapped gifts, and the children unwrapped them together in a moment filled with excitement and laughter.

It’s safe to say these kids were definitely on the nice list this year, thanks to the kindness and generosity of our community.
What a wonderful way to celebrate the season of giving!
