Lynnae Messina has returned to Lee Health Foundation as Development Director. She will focus on fundraising for the Lee Health Heart Institute. Messina had previously served as assistant to the chief development officer at Lee Health Foundation for three years.

Bringing more than 10 years of development and fundraising experience, Messina has also served in development roles at Harry Chapin Food Bank and PACE Center for Girls, Lee County. As Associate Executive Director with the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Sanctuary, she was instrumental in a land acquisition campaign that preserved 68 acres on Sanibel Island from being developed into 29 homes.
