As part of its commitment to the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in our community, West Boca Medical Center is taking steps to raise funds for research and care at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K.. The event, organized by the American Cancer Society, will take place October 25 at 8:30 a.m. at the Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton. The purpose of the walk is to honor breast cancer survivors, help spread awareness and raise money to find a cure for the disease.
