August 24, 2020 – Cleveland Clinic is pleased to announce that Mandi Sehgal, MD a physician specializing in geriatric medicine, has joined Cleveland Clinic in Weston. In addition to providing patient care, she will also direct Cleveland Clinic Weston’s Geriatric Fellowship Program.
Dr. Sehgal, a Geriatric Medicine clinician-educator, is also a developer of innovative educational programming, and a leader of inter-professional teams. She is certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Dr. Sehgal was an Associate Professor of Geriatric Medicine at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine where she directed the Geriatrics and Healthy Aging Curriculum and the Geriatrics and Palliative Care Clerkship. She has also served on the faculty of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Sehgal attended college and medical school at the University of South Alabama, earning a bachelor- of-science degree in Biomedical Sciences and her medical degree. She completed her residency at Tallahassee Memorial’s Family Medicine Residency Program, her Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati, and a Faculty Development Fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Dr. Sehgal currently serves as the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Teachers’ Section Chair and the Section Editor of the Education and Training Section of the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society. In 2020, Dr. Sehgal was honored by the AGS as Clinician Educator of the Year. She has also been voted a “Top Doc” by her physician colleagues for many years.
