Marcos A. Nores, M.D., board-certified cardiac surgeon, has joined Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care as medical director of Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health.
Dr. Nores joins Baptist Health with more than 25 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery and clinical leadership. Prior to joining the organization, he served as medical director of cardiovascular services at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, FL. He previously led the cardiothoracic surgery program at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.
Dr. Nores earned his medical degree at the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine in Argentina. He completed his internship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, followed by a general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He also served as clinical associate at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.
