Mariners Hospital recently recognized two members of the hospital’s nursing community. Paula Scroggins, R.N., was named Mariners Hospital Nurse of the Year. Mimose Joseph was selected Patient Care Technician of the Year.

Scroggins has been at Mariners 12 years and works in the hospital’s intensive care unit. She was selected for the award based on her professionalism and willingness to share her nursing knowledge with co-workers.
 
Joseph has been with Mariners for four years. She works on the medical/surgical floor and received the award based on her caring and regard for her patients.
