More than 40 nurses, members of the Greater Miami Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, recently attended an educational meeting hosted by Mariners Hospital. Other speakers included Debbie Barrow, pharmacist, and Fran Glick, administrative director of Imaging Services, who discussed Contrast Induced Nephropathy; Eugene Manuel, D.O., who talked about addiction; and Ellen Pritchett, dietitian, who talked about managing glucose in hospitalized patients.
