 HCA East Florida announces the appointment of Matt Hughes as CFO of Plantation General Hospital (PGH) effective, December 1, 2017.

Hughes has been the Controller at Aventura Hospital since 2015. Prior to that, Hughes was the Controller at Westside Regional Medical Center from 2014-2015. He also worked in the Accounting Department at Westside Regional Medical Center from 2007-2014. Hughes started his career as an office assistant at Planation General Hospital from 1999-2002.
As CFO of Plantation General Hospital, Hughes will oversee the hospital’s internal and external financial reporting, capital expenditures, case management and resource utilization. PGH is a 264-bed facility, which has 10,000 admissions per year, and nearly 70,000 emergency room visits annually.
Hughes received his bachelors and Masters of Business Administration in management from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL.
