February 18, 2020 – The Jackson Health Foundation named Maylen Montoto as Associate Director of Events and Sponsorships.
Mrs. Montoto has more than 25 years of experience in the communications, fundraising, and marketing industry, specifically in the health sector. As associate director she is responsible for fundraising, coordination of special events and promoting the foundation’s efforts in the South Florida community.
 
She will also promote citizen participation and sponsorships in particular for 3 different programs and hospitals of the Jackson Health System, such as Miami Transplant Institute (MTI) the largest transplant center in the United States. The Taylor Breast Health Center/Roberta Orlen Chaplin Digital Breast Imaging Center and the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center at Jackson Health the only comprehensive rape treatment center in Miami-Dade County. She will also represent the foundation at community and charitable events.
 
Maylen, brings energy, years of experience, compassion, and dedication to her new position as Associate Director, she is a visionary executive who always brings her best. Mrs. Montoto is in alignment with the values and mission of the foundation since for many years she has represent other nonprofit organizations as Vice President of Community Relations and Fundraising.
 
Mrs. Montoto has been recognized with several community awards in recent years for her work in the community. In 2015, the Hispanic Women of Distinction, 2016 Bernice Martinez Award from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. (SFLHCC) 2017 Dama de Lincoln (Annual Lincoln Motor Company Award) and in 2018 Nominated for Business Woman of the Year by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
