Memorial Healthcare Systems Grants Team was nationally recognized for earning the first standards-based grants credential from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute, Inc., an affiliate of the American Association of Grant Professionals (AAGP).

The Memorial team Christine Heft, assistant director of planning for grant programs, Jodi Pearl and Susan Webster, both grant coordinators joins the company of 167 other grant professionals who passed the first-ever offering of the GPC exam in the United States. They are also among 28 in Florida with this unique certification. The credential recognizes proficiency in standards that include tenure in the profession, education, demonstrated achievement and a commitment to service for public and private philanthropy.
