Clara L. Alvarez Villalba, M.D., has joined Memorial Healthcare System of Hollywood as medical director, Outpatient Behavioral Health.Dr. Alvarez Villalba joined Memorial Healthcare System with six years of experience at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine in Miami. She served the past two years as its medical director, Adult Outpatient Clinic at Jackson Hospital Mental Health. Before that she was clinical assistant professor for Consultation Liaison Psychiatry.
Dr. Alvarez Villalba received her medical degree from Del Rosario University Medical School in Bogota, Colombia. She earned a postgraduate diploma in gerontology and geriatrics at the University of Malta’s International Institute on Ageing, United Nations – Msida, Malta.
