Every quarter, Broward Health North Broward Medical Center recognizes two outstanding doctors as Most Valuable Physicians (MVP). This quarters MVP recipients are David Lessen, M.D., and Selwyn Waterton, M.D.
Dr. Lessen has been a Hematology/Oncology physician at North Broward Medical Center since 2005. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before earning a medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Dr. Waterton joined North Broward Medical Center as an Emergency Medicine physician in 2008. He received his undergraduate degree from Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY. He earned an M.D. from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC.
