Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation Names New Executive Director

Miami Beach businessman Michael Milberg is the new executive director of the Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation.

Milberg served as chairman of the Board of Governors for the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce from 2001 to 2004 and was a member of the Board from 1992- 2000. During his tenure, the Chamber broke records in revenue and membership. He developed a successful committee infrastructure that was responsible for setting and meeting the goals of the organization. He is also credited for initiating the expansion of the Chamber’s Pillar Board to assist in identifying new leadership for the organization. Milberg also was active in the City of Miami Beach, serving on various committees from 1985 to 1995. He chaired the Budget Advisory Committee from 1996 to 1999.
