January 14, 2020 – NCH Healthcare System has joined the Vivida Health Medicaid plan to expand health services for low-income families.
NCH Healthcare System provides personalized care in Collier County in the two-hospital, 716 bed system. NCH Physician Group is one of the largest medical groups in Southwest Florida with over 237 providers practicing in over 35 locations throughout Collier and Lee counties. The addition of NCH to the Vivida network means increased access and quality healthcare for members.

Vivida Health is a Medicaid Provider Service Network (PSN) providing access to high quality health care for eligible children, expectant mothers, elderly adults, low-income families and those with disabilities in Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee and Sarasota Counties.

PSNs differ from traditional Medicaid plans in that they are owned, operated and governed by physicians and other health care providers. As a provider-owned and operated Medicaid plan, Vivida Health is designed to cater to the people and patients it serves within its designated region.

“Our patient-centered approach to Medicaid, coupled with NCH Health System’s commitment to guiding families toward optimum health and well-being, makes them an ideal provider partner for the health plan,” said Larry Antonucci, M.D., MBA, Lee Health president and CEO. “We are excited to welcome NCH Healthcare System to Vivida Health and expand access to quality health care for our members.”
NCH Healthcare System, a not-for-profit healthcare organization, was founded in 1953 and NCH Baker Hospital was the first hospital in Naples, Florida. NCH has grown into a vibrant healthcare system which spans 716 inpatient beds split between two hospitals, two free-standing emergency centers, several urgent care clinics and many outpatient physician offices all with the same goal in mind; provide exceptional care to our Southwest Florida residents and visitors.
