December 6, 2021 — Surabhi Ranjan, MD, has been named Section Leader in Neuro-Oncology at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital.

Dr. Ranjan is a board-certified neuro-oncologist with a background in neurology. Dr. Ranjan sees patients with brain gliomas, CNS lymphomas, brain metastases, leptomeningeal disease, paraneoplastic syndrome and neurological complications of cancer.

“We are focused on bringing specialized physicians like Dr. Ranjan to Cleveland Clinic in Florida, which allows us to provide our patients with world-class care,” said Rodolfo J. Blandon, MD, President of Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital. “We are excited for Dr. Ranjan to continue expanding our neuro-oncology program in Weston and providing her extensive knowledge and skill.”

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic in Florida, Dr. Ranjan was a neuro-oncologist at Orlando Health Cancer Institute in Orlando. She is also an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Ranjan earned her medical degree at Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai. She completed her residency in neurology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and a fellowship in Clinical Neuro-Oncology at John Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Dr. Ranjan is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), Society for Neuro-oncology (SNO) and the Indian Society of Neuro Oncology (ISNO).
