E. Jason Gates, M.D., has been named chief of staff at Imperial Point Medical Center. Gates was elected by the medical staff of Imperial Point following his two-year term as vice chief of staff. Gates previously served as chairman of the surgery monitoring committee and now serves as chairman of the medical council.
Gates is a private practicing physician in Fort Lauderdale and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology in Gynecologic Oncology. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida in 1991. He completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Stoneybrook University of New York. He is a member of the Florida Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, Fort Lauderdale Surgical Society and Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Association and a number of other professional organizations.
