New IRMC Lab Director Looks to Future

Louise Copeland has joined the staff of Indian River Medical Center as the laboratory director.

Copeland received a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Lake Superior State University.

Prior to arriving at IRMC, Copeland served as the director of laboratory business development and outreach at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle. During her career, Copeland has also held lab positions at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Twin Cities Medical Center in Niceville and Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
