Parikshit S. Sharma, M.D., is the Section Head of Electrophysiology at the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Dr. Sharma completed his medical education at K. J. Somaiya Medical College before honing his skills with a residency in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Hospital and Mount Sinai Medical Center. He pursued advanced training through fellowships at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education and Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Sharma is board-certified in both cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He has expertise in managing complex arrhythmias, performing atrial fibrillation ablations, and implementing advanced pacing techniques.
