The North Broward Hospital District (NBHD) Board of Commissioners, which jointly supervises Broward Health, unanimously elected its officers at the July board meeting. Christopher Pernicano was elected chair, Paul Tanner was elected vice chair and Jonathan Hage was elected secretary/treasurer. The board has additional commissioners, including immediate past chair Stacy Angier, Nancy Stamper, Ray Berry and Levi Williams.
Pernicano has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2021. He is the founder and CEO of Fiberr USA, a national distributor that specializes in eco-friendly fiber-reinforced plastic products.
Tanner has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2022. He is the owner and founder of Las Olas Capital Advisors.
Hage has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2021. He is the founder and CEO of Charter Schools USA.
