Broward Health North Broward Medical Center was recently recognized by the Florida Hospital Association for eliminating central line-associated blood stream infections (CLABSI) in the intensive care unit (ICU).
The ICU unit at North Broward Medical Center has had zero central line-associated blood stream infections in the past six months and was one of only eight hospitals recognized for eliminating bloodstream infections.
