Dianne Aleman, chief executive officer at North Ridge Medical Center, has announced the appointment of Madelyn Lliteras, R.N., as chief nursing officer. She had been serving as interim CNO at the hospital.

Since joining the staff at North Ridge Medical Center in 1987, Lliteras has served in several positions, including director of the medical/surgical unit, director of the nursing supervisory office, and most recently, interim CNO.

Lliteras served as chair of North Ridge Medical Center’s Patient Satisfaction Target 100 team and participates in the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk. She recently was announced as a finalist for Nursing Spectrum’s 2006 Nursing Excellence Awards.
