Special honor is part of Tenet Healthcare’s annual recognition program
March 26, 2021 – North Shore Medical Center and Florida Medical Center announced today that Pablo Mora, who is the Market Director of Infection Prevention for both facilities, has been honored by Tenet Healthcare as part of its annual recognition program for employees. Pablo has been named a “Tenet Hero” for his incredible contributions in 2020.
The Tenet Heroes program celebrates those individuals who make a meaningful impact within their respective communities that goes above and beyond their daily job responsibilities. Nominated by fellow colleagues, Tenet Heroes exemplify the company’s core values and key tenets of its Community Built on Care.
Pablo was recognized as a Tenet Hero for going above and beyond to help both hospitals prepare and implement the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has worked around the clock to be available for each hospital’s incident command team and has spent countless hours reading, researching, meeting, testing and implementing operational changes.
When the incident command team asked him to take a day off, his response was, "this is what we trained for; this is when our patients, our staff and our doctors need us the most." That response resonated the entire team and his passion and energy never wavered.
