Nearly a decade ago, Brittany Baisley, APRN, FNP-C, began her career at Broward Health Coral Springs in the inpatient post-operative surgical unit. Today she is nurse manager of the medical/telemetry unit, responsible for day-to-day operations, patient observers/companions and monitor technicians.
Baisley leads with compassion and empathy, taking great pride in the positive impact her actions have on her patients and colleagues. She is a strong advocate for professional development and serves as chairperson for the Nursing Professional Development Council which strives to promote development in nursing at Broward Health.
“I’ve always been a nurturer and have wanted to help people in any capacity that I can,” Baisley said. “That led me to enroll in Health Occupation Students of America in high school, which then solidified my decision to pursue a career in healthcare.”
Baisley earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University, a Master of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Florida Atlantic University.
