A native of the Philippines, Daryll Bales-Cale, RN, spent 15 years in the advertising industry before deciding she wanted a more meaningful and fulfilling career. That’s when she moved to the U.S. to pursue a career in nursing.
Today Bales-Cale is a compassionate and skilled cardiac telemetry nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Broward Health Imperial Point, where she is the primary nurse for multiple patients during 12-hour shifts. She fosters collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver cohesive, evidence-based exceptional care that drives positive patient outcomes.
“I chose nursing because it resonates deeply with my personal values, allowing me to extend kindness, empathy and compassion during a person’s most vulnerable moments,” Bales-Cale said. “I am grateful for the steadfast support from my Broward Health Imperial Point family.”
Bales-Cale is a 2023 Daisy Award honoree and a graduate of Broward College.
