Maria Teresa Merino-Cuadrado began her nursing career in 2007 with a local home health agency. In 2012, she found her passion for end-of-life care when she joined VITAS, serving multiple cities in the South Miami area. In 2014, she became a mentor for incoming nurses and staff from all disciplines.
Maria Teresa provides compassionate end-of-life care for patients and families and has received multiple five-star reviews and accolades for her skills and expertise. Graduating from nursing school in Cuba, Maria Teresa also earned a medical degree from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Villa Clara, Cuba.
