March 25 2021 – The Nursing Consortium of South Florida is pleased to announce the election of six nurse leaders to two-year terms on its board of directors; Mercy Hospital’s CNO Lauren Cutter, MSN,RN, NEA-BC, RNC-OB; Nancy Gonzalez, ARNP-BC, PPCNP-BC, MSN the Associate Dean of Nursing at Broward College’s Central and South Campuses; Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s CNO Shannon Odell, MSN, RNC-OB, NE-BC; Tommie Norris, DNS, RN, Dean of the Benjamín LeÏn School of Nursing at Miami-Dade College; Elizabeth Vieito-Smith, DNP, RN, CNO of the University of Miami Hospitals & Clinics; and Jean Seaver, MSN, RN, Associate VP of Learning & Development at Broward Health. Seaver and Vieto-Smith have been on the board for two years and the other four will be new to the board. The newly elected directors will be seated at the next Consortium board meeting scheduled for the 30th of March.
