Emergency room nurses, technicians and other caregivers at Baptist Children’s Emergency Center have found they are nearly as talented with a paintbrush as they are with a stethoscope. The staff, along with volunteers from the community, painted an ocean-life mural in the new facility, creating a world of make-believe for ill and injured children. Local artist Maxim Weitzman created the mural, featuring a variety of whimsical sea creatures including sea horses, dolphin, fish and crabs. Weitzman also volunteers at Baptist Children’s Hospital where he spends one day a week painting with hospitalized children. Pictured (l-r) are
