April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month and the American Parkinson Disease Association will launch its Optimism Walks campaign by hosting the Annual Parkinson’s Disease Fun Walk and Picnic for Research on Saturday, April 14 at Lake Ida Park – Heron Pavilion, 1455 Lake Ida Rd., Delray Beach, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tai chi warm-up, fun walk, BBQ lunch, musical entertainment, veggie stand, exhibits, raffles, face painting and more.
