Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to announce W. Vincent Burke, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon focusing on adult reconstruction, hip and knee replacement surgery, is opening a new practice in Fort Lauderdale at the Florida Institute of Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists (FIOSS). Dr. Burke specializes in all aspects of Joint Replacement surgery, including: anterior approach to hip replacement, knee replacement, unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive / rapid recovery surgery.
Dr. Burke received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to entering the field of medicine, he was involved in automotive safety research for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. He later attended the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
