Dr. Daniel Spitz, a leading oncologist with the Palm Beach Cancer Institute (PBCI) in West Palm Beach, was appointed a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), an honorary distinction to recognize ongoing individual service and contributions to the practice of medicine.
Dr. Spitz is co-director of the oncology program at the Palm Beach Cancer Institute and is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Gynecology Oncology Group, the Palm Beach Medical Society, and he has served on the board of directors for the Palm Beach County chapter of the American Cancer Society and the Medical Advisory Board for the Palm Beach chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
