Palm Beach County Drug Abuse Summit, hosted by Hanley Center and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, will be held Tuesday, December 3 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hanley Center Resource Center, 933 45th St., West Palm Beach. Four separate panel discussions will explore aspects of the drug abuse epidemic in West Palm Beach and beyond. The panels will feature experts in each of the following fields: criminal justice/law and order; legislative/elected officials; pharmaceuticals; and public health crisis/community outreach. Program highlights include judicial and legislative professionals presenting efforts to combat drug abuse; question and answer sessions with each panel; regional experts presenting proposals for the 2014 legislative calendar; and complimentary refreshments and lunch.
