Dr. Mark Rubenstein, President of the Palm Beach County Medical Society has been chosen as a recipient for the 2006 Florida Choice Awards for Workers’ Compensation. The Florida Choice Awards recognizes and promotes excellence in workers’ compensation treatment and care. Four categories of awards were presented, with Rubenstein winning for best “Non-Surgical Specialist.” This is the second consecutive year that he has been bestowed with this tribute.

Rubenstein, a pain management physician, specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation. His practice is located in the Victor Farris Building at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Rubenstein is the section chief of rehabilitative medicine at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center and serves as an Ad Hoc member of the Safety Committee at St. Mary’s. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, and also serves as Assistant Professor of Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University. Rubenstein actively teaches medical students through the University of Miami as well as through Nova Southeastern University where he serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine.
