The Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s Board of Commissioners unanimously re-elected its Board Chair and officers: Philip H. Ward, III, as Chair of the Health Care District Board, Brian R. Lohmann as Vice Chair, and Nancy C. Banner, Esq. as Secretary. Ward was appointed to the Health Care District Board by Florida Governor Rick Scott in October 2011 and was re-appointed in May 2016. He also serves on the District’s Quality Patient Safety and Compliance Committee.
Ward is president and managing partner of Ward Damon, a multi-disciplined law firm which he co-founded in 1987. He is Chair of the county’s Infrastructure Surtax Independent Citizen Oversight Committee, the Vice Chair and member of the Board of Trustees of BIZPAC, former Chair of the Palm Beach Business Development Board, as well as a member of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County.
