January 5, 2021 – Board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician Jose Andres Restrepo, M.D., has joined Miami Neuroscience Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Restrepo specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, electrodiagnosis, regenerative medicine, and musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Restrepo joins Miami Neuroscience Institute from Conviva Physician Group, where he served as the regional medical director of rehabilitation medicine.
He was the principal investigator in a research study that demonstrated that exercise prevented falls and increased functional independence in older adults. He also served as the associate program director of the physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Restrepo earned his medical degree from the Pontifical Xavierian University Faculty of Medicine. He completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center.
He will see patients at 8950 N Kendall Drive, #410-W in Miami.
