Kathy Schilling, MD, currently serves as the Medical Director of the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health South Florida. As a radiologist with sub specialization in breast imagining, Dr. Schilling has been a member of the Baptist Health team since 1988. Dr. Schilling is committed to cutting-edge research and advancements for breast cancer detection and early diagnosis, ultimately leading to better health and well-being for women in the community. In recent years, Dr. Schilling has spearheaded Baptist Health’s efforts in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) for breast cancer imaging. Since implementing AI, breast radiologists at Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute have improved their detection rate by 23 percent. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Schilling attended the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed fellowship and residency programs at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
