Shalom Adams, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician with the Broward Health Physician Group who practices at Broward Health Imperial Point. Dr Adams is dedicated to helping patients improve their well-being and prevent future medical issues. He specializes in preventive medicine, smoking cessation, weight management, chronic disease care and education on contraception, medication management and the importance of regular physical exams. Dr. Adams also provides guidance on hospital discharge planning and advance healthcare directives.
Having managed asthma as a child, Dr. Adams’ personal healthcare experience sparked his interest in medicine.
“I wanted to learn about specific conditions, prevent them and help people manage chronic illnesses,” he says. Since starting his practice in 2021, his focus has been on enhancing the health of individuals and families in Broward County.
Dr. Adams completed his residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Oceanside, New York, and earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten.
