The Physical Therapy Department at Plantation General Hospital has much to celebrate this year. Our Customer Satisfaction and positive outcomes are over 97%, due to our dedicated staff of licensed therapists who provide one-on-one therapy to our patients. Every patient we care for is evaluated and treated according to a personalized treatment plan to maximize their functional achievements. Our successes and teamwork are so gratifying; the Physical Therapy staff’s overall satisfaction at work was 100% on this year’s Gallup Survey.
Plantation General Hospitals Physical Therapy Department is open 7 days a week to treat inpatients of all ages, from neonates in our level III NICU to geriatrics in our adult units. We treat patients with a wide variety of medical, neurological, orthopedic and wound conditions. Outpatients are welcome Monday through Friday with convenient appointments, usually with no waiting.
Part of the celebration of Physical Therapy Month will include tips of the day will go out via e-mail to all staff to remind them about fitness, exercises that can be done at work, office ergonomics, proper lifting, body mechanics, and posture.
