Plaza Health Network is proud to announce Leonard J. Pianko, M.D., F.A.C.C. as its new Chief Medical Officer.
This new position is a homecoming of sorts for Dr. Pianko who once served as the Medical Director of Aventura Plaza from 2002 to 2005. With an already successful, established private practice in Aventura, Dr. Pianko continued to care for patients at Aventura Plaza, Arch Plaza and Sinai Plaza over the years.
Dr. Pianko received his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine and cardiovascular training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey.
