Prestige Health Choice, a Florida Medicaid managed care plan that is part of the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies, announced that it has appointed Kathy Warner as market president. In this role, Warner will be responsible for the plan’s strategic direction, growth, and leadership, as well as the plan’s primary point of contact with the state of Florida.
Warner brings more than 30 years of experience, including profit and loss responsibility, in managed care and other types of insurance. She joins Prestige Health Choice after serving as WellCare of South Carolina’s state president and state chief operating officer, where she led the company’s Medicaid managed care and Medicare products in the state. During her time in South Carolina, she led the integration of three acquisitions and a start-up into the company’s portfolio. 
Warner previously held other health care leadership roles in Georgia for WellCare and Columbus Regional Healthcare System. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the College of Charleston.
