Vice President of Community Health and Well-Being
 
Kim Saiswick serves as vice president of community health and well-being for Holy Cross Hospital. In her role, she leads, develops and oversees the implementation of policy, system and environmental change strategies, as well as programs and outreach strategies, in communities throughout the non-profit hospital’s service area. She also leverages resources and partnerships and addresses social determinants of health to ensure that Holy Cross is fulfilling its commitment to optimizing wellness and equity and eliminating disparities in the communities it serves. Previously, Saiswick served as the hospital’s director of community outreach for 22 years. Involved with local and statewide policy making boards and community networks, Saiswick has worked alongside community peers and colleagues to advocate for change and improvement in regional health-related systems, with a special focus on vulnerable, disenfranchised, and poor individuals and families. Her community involvement also includes serving as chairman of Hope South Florida and as a board director for Light of the World Clinic and the Second Chance Society. Saiswick has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from American University, a master’s degree in mental health counseling, and an educational doctorate in child and youth policy.
