Dr. Nishant Patel is a Board Certified Cardiothoracic surgeon on staff at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Prior to joining the team at Palm Beach Gardens, Dr. Patel was the Chief Resident in the Department of Surgery, Divisions of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Patel graduated medical school from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel is an expert in Minimally Invasive valve surgeries where valve repair and replacement can be safely performed without dividing the sternum. He also performs Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), surgery for Atrial Fibrillation, and multi-arterial Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting. Dr. Patel’s research interests included aortic root operations for Marfan Syndrome, valve-sparing aortic root operations and surgery for heart failure.

 

 

Dr. Gonzalo Loveday is a board certified cardiologist with over 25 years of medical experience on staff at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center with special interest in cardiac catheterization, implantation and management of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization devices for heart failure; transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT angiography. Born in Lima, Peru Dr. Loveday graduated medical school from Universidad Nacional San Marcos. He did his internship and residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.   He then did his cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center too. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
