Ashford Denman, M.H.A., serves as the Vice President of Heart & Vascular Services at Baptist Health South Florida, where he oversees operations for Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, which includes both Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute and Lynn Cardiac & Vascular Institute. In this leadership role, Denman is responsible for executing the strategic vision of the heart and vascular service line. His focus spans across growth, operational excellence, and clinical innovation, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance in cardiovascular care. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Denman served in a senior leadership role at Sentara Health, where he led a $1.5 billion cardiovascular enterprise. During his tenure, he drove significant improvements in quality, access, and operational performance, earning a reputation for transforming complex systems into streamlined, patient-centered care models. Denman holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, bringing a strong background in process improvement and operational efficiency to his role.
