Heather Havericak serves as Chief Executive Officer of Delray Medical Center, where she oversees all strategic, operational, and clinical functions at the 536-bed acute care hospital. With more than 17 years of healthcare leadership experience in South Florida, Havericak brings a deep understanding of hospital operations and market dynamics. Prior to joining Delray Medical Center, she served as CEO of Broward Health Medical Center, the flagship facility of the Broward Health system, which also includes the Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital. During her tenure, she led the expansion of several key service lines, including robotics, neurosciences, oncology, cardiology, and women and children’s services. Known for her strong operational expertise, Havericak has been recognized for her leadership, commitment to growth, and dedication to mentoring future healthcare professionals. She is also deeply engaged in community service, having served on boards for organizations such as the American Heart Association, Gilda’s Club South Florida, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Havericak is the 2025 Women of Impact winner for Palm Beach County and will be chairing the Go Red for Women campaign for the county. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare executives and serves on the Delray Chamber of Commerce.
