Jineal Shinn has served as Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital’s chief nursing officer since 2019, leading with a transformational approach that prioritizes teamwork, innovation, and a deep commitment to patient and family-centered care. During a nearly 30-year career at Memorial Healthcare System, she has advanced from bedside pediatric oncology nurse to executive leader while consistently raising the bar on clinical excellence.
“We recently earned Magnet designation with 13 exemplars, which is a milestone that reflects national recognition for nursing leadership, outcomes, and interprofessional collaboration,” said Shinn. “We’re also proud that the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital received the prestigious Gold Unit of the Year and Conversion Award from the Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency, honoring the skill and compassion that make life-saving organ donation possible.”
