Hello, my name is Dr.Attila Hertelendy. I am a researcher at Florida International University. Together with nationally renowned scholars including, Fredrick Burkle, MD, MPH (Harvard University, T.H. Chan School of Public Health), Stacie Vilendrer, MD, MBA (Stanford University, School of Medicine), Asha Devereaux, MD,MPH Michael Mayo, (Hospital President, Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville), Walfried Lassar, PhD, (Florida International University) I am conducting research about executives perceptions regarding hospital preparedness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The purpose of this study is to understand what training healthcare executives should receive to prepare for future disasters or pandemics. This survey will ask questions on preparedness, response, leadership and innovations that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic to date. If you decide to participate, you will be one of about 350 respondents in this research study. Participation in this study is voluntary and will take approximately 5-8 minutes of your time.
There are no foreseeable risks or benefits to you for participating in this study. We expect to publish the results of our study which will benefit hospitals in their preparation and determination of best practices for future pandemics. It is expected that this study will benefit society by increasing the knowledge of best practices for hospitals during crisis.
