Salute to Case Managers – Florida Medical Center

Ingrid Cedeno is a registered nurse case manager at Florida Medical Center. Ingrid is responsible for the clinical assessment for all of the patients admitted in her unit related to the functional abilities prior to admission. She also reviews patient treatment plans for continued hospital stays, and discharge planning. Ingrid received her Bachelor’s degree from Salve Regina University in Nursing. She enjoys dancing, and she is passionate about staying fit. She walks 3 miles a day when she can. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson.

 

 

Sherese Young is the lead social worker at Florida Medical Center. She joined Florida Medical Center in 2019. Sherese is responsible for training and orienting new employees. She oversees all the complex cases of patients that have a thirty day or more stay. She also works on the daily and weekly reports. She floats to all the units when needed. She received her Bachelors from Nova Southeastern University, and her Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University. She is a reservist in the United States Army. She enjoys fishing with her family and snorkeling.
